SunYou Jung is a Composer and Sound Designer for film, multimedia, and video games. Her recent score for Koreatown Ghost Story (2021) has won the Award of Excellence for Achievement in Music from the Southern Shorts Awards, and Best Score Award from the Los Angeles Crime and Horror Festival. SunYou's background in animation and video game development informs her musical approach, which includes developing music for VR and interactive media. As a songwriter, SunYou released her first album Bright Me Up in 2019.

 

SunYou is based in New York, where she is currently completing a Masters in Music in Film Scoring at NYU, and she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Multimedia and Informational Technology, and Psychology from Seoul National University.
